Neil Brookes was a devoted, loving father to Zoey and Christopher and big Nottingham Forest supporter and Elvis fan!!!
He died on the 4th January 2005, aged 41. The day he left us, he left a big space in everyones heart who knew him. He was the best, He is the best, he is my dad.
He worked at VW Graphics in Alford after leaving James's printers in Skegness. He was in local football teams before starting to train Swifts in Ingoldmells with Christopher.
We miss you so much, will always love you, but we know, we will see you again. We know your not gone, your only sleeping. x x love zoey x x

hi dad, thought id leave you a message. Its xmas eve today...and no snow...please keep it away until the little one is here as dont want to be driving to hospital in it haha!!
your quiet days are over up there now....someone very special has joined you this week, it will be ash and dumplings or meant and potato pie from now on up there...oh and soaps!! and just a tip...dont talk through beegees...she doesn't like that!!
i would say look after her but it will be the other way round now the boss has joined you!
willow will have 3 angels watching over her now that she will grow up to learn about from the nutter family!!!

Just a quick update...
Hi dad, thought i'd let you know that your going to have a grandaughter......!!!! mum couldn't stop crying when she found out! shes going mad with the buying like she did with us two! ive been told by shaun to slow the buying down!!
She moves alot and shaun has started to feel her kick when he puts his hands on my tummy. Think she likees me singing as she goes mad when im driving and singing to work!!.
Christopher is pleased, he will be a fab uncle. She has got very long legs they say, so she will be like shaun and chris in height, me in looks ;)
We all can't wait for her to arrive, however, she will be fashionably late like i always am to work etc!
Im sure you already knew all this, but thought id let you know.

Hey dad, thought id come and leavea message for you! Alot has happened this year so far, me and sean bought a house together, it needs quite a bit doing to it...but we will get there. Also, your going to be a first time grandad! obviously im sure you already know this.
Christopher has a job (finally) haha, he has passed his cbt test so can ride a scooter now...!! hes grown up loads, over 6ft tall....he dont get that from you or mum!
Happy fathers day for tomorrow, its the 6th one without you, its gone so fast!
Hope you have met seans dad up there, im sure you will both be having a laugh together. Both of you have a pint on all us down here thinking of you both!!

No one saw it coming and in one way it was good that you were taken so suddenly and you never suffered but we didn't get the chance to say goodbye. I just hope you are in a better place and that you have saved a good spot for us all

Christmas was manic, as usual, with mum rushing about!
Had a lovely birthday, went to nanas for the morning, then came home and mum took me out for a meal.
We have ad alot of snow, which has prevented me from going to work :):):) and also having to come home early too!!!
Cristopher has grown loads, hes like 6ft now!! i have no idea where he gets the height from!!!
